What to Look for in a SEO Company
How To Choose an SEO Company
Search engine optimization can be the biggest help to any business, or it can be the biggest expense. When a SEO company say they can do your digital marketing, do you actually know the success they've had with their accounts? It is very important for individuals and companies looking into these services to ask the SEO companies a portfolio of their successful accounts and the ROI they have made for their clientele.
When trusting a company to run your SEO you want to make sure that all the money being spent is being spent well. Some website companies. (not all) take advantage of their customers by claiming that they provide SEO services when in reality they track monthly metrics and provide very little heavy lifting in regards to optimization, content creation, and keyword research. So in this case “Company A” hires “Do It All Website Company” and they charge “Company A” $1500 a month for their services. They create the website for “Company A” and optimize the website for one keyword and they are finished. From here they provide “Company A” with very limited metrics monthly and tell them that they are giving “Company A” “x” amount of hours per month when in reality they are charging “Company A” a monthly fee and not putting in any work. When the first month goes by they provide “Company A” with a metric sheet showing only numbers that are positive. “Company A” thinks everything is great and keeps using them until they really start questioning if SEO really works. This is a prime example of how a lot of website/SEO companies operate. They optimize at first for one keyword and then track that data while only showing their customers the numbers that look good.
